We all love music at some level, be it performance, composition, or just sittin' back listening to CDs or MP3s on the computer or our stereo. There's just something about music that touches us all. We can't always explain it, but it's true. Unknown to a lot of furs, there are a lot of furs in the fandom that write their own music, either for their own enjoyment or for the enjoyment of others (or both). Started on September 16, 2001, by Taris L Flashpaw with the encouragement of Lycan Taris T Wolf, Lomax Leopard and Southclaw Bruin, the Symposium for Furry Music is dedicated to promoting the music of furry composers to the rest of the fandom and to the world at large. Hopefully this will become a place for furs to learn about the music of their fellow furs.
